Question: Will standing on my feet all day help me to lose weight?

Just a theory I hit a plateau. I'm working on new routines, however when I'm not working out I'm sitting on my butt. I'm only on my feet for like two hours a day. So I was wondering if I changed that to standing 8+ hours would that help me to lose some more weight? If not tell me because my feet hurt already lol. I do cardio too just need a calorie burning boost. Perfect Moo ok you have valid points but you didn't answer my question.

Standing by itself will do nothing. Take a walk everyday or run.

Plateaus do not happen with fat loss. A pound of fat is 3500 calories, stored in your body. If you burn 500 calories more than you consume each day, you will create a 3500 calorie deficit each week, and lose 1lb each week. If you're not losing weight, you're either eating too much, or not moving enough.

I'm sure it would do some good as long as you are wearing flat shoes and have good posture. Otherwise, you'll wanna sit down more.

Get some good sleep. Sleep is vital to body rejuvenation and repair so make sure you get some good sleep and keep your timings consistent. Lack of sleep can contribute to lack of weight loss.
