How can I get my Dad to lose weight? Please help!?
He is 50 and turning 51 in October. His weight is 289. He eats way too much, he will keep going back to eat things after another. He'll eat 2 things instead of one. Once he eats something he will keep going back to eat more. After dinner, something to eat.... EAT EAT EAT He will always go back. Just trying to get my point through. Heart attacks are known in his family. When he eats Sweet & Salty bars he'll have another one hidden in his pocket, then he'll try to distract me when I see it. Whenever I confront him about it he will just say " I know" or get mad about it and say " Oh yeah I'm the fattest person in the world" and get all sarcastic. He'll also try to sing horribly. I'M WORRIED ABOUT HIM Please help me.

My boyfriend told me I need to lose weight?
Hi all I need your opinion,I'm 21 years old, 5'4 and weigh about 53 54 kilos which is around 8 and a half stone. I said to my boyfriend that I was thinking of losing weight in which he replied 'how much about 5 kilos'? He's from France and so they use metric and I now realise 5 kilos is around 11lbs. I was shocked that he would say so much and it made me really upset, but he just said 'I love you but 5 kilos less you would be perfect' Do you think im overreacting at being so angry or do you think its just a culture thing? How to lose weight while at boarding school? 10 pounds in 3 months?
I'm setting what, hopefully, is considered a pretty achieveable goal for myself losing 10 pounds in three months...so basically I want to be around 10 pounds lighter than right now by the time winter break rolls around in December.According to my BMI, I am currently considered in the latter half of the " normal" weight category. By losing 10 pounds, I will be back to where I was last year and still be far from " underweight" . Needless to say, I gained a lot of weight the past school year I go to a relatively competitive and stressful college prep school...late homework nights and snacking to stay awake, lack of exercise as a result of no energy from sleep deprivation, etc .I want to take it slow, but steady, hence the 10 pounds in 3 months goal. Please no " intense" suggestions like exercising two hours daily or dieting on water and salads as that would not be easily do able in my school environment. How often should I exercise each week and for how long? What kinds of foods should I be eating? And what do I stay away from? Any other tips that I can integrate into my everyday school life?My school has a " fully equipped" dining hall and workout room so whatever your suggestions may be, I should be able to accommodate at school.I choose best answer for the answer that truly helps me I'm trying to make a " new school year resolution" with this and am really looking forward to your answers and hopefully being able to accomplish my goal

ok so today i got a skateboard cuz i have been wanting one for a while. that it might be exercise didnt even cross my mind rofl. but tonight it was cold and i went out on it and i was wearing a sweatshirt but then it got really hot and i took it off and i was kinda sweaty even after like 45 min. today is the first day i have ever done it so im not that great. i only did it for like 1 and a half hours too. but its so fun if i do it for like 1 2 hours a day would it help me lose a little weight? ill do it anyways of course
